Acalypha wilkesiana Inferno or Copper Leaf Acalypha as it is more commonly known is a stunning evergreen with spectacular, bright red, bronze and burgundy foliage. Small white flowers bloom on long stems in the warmer months, rendering this fast growing ornamental perfect for specimen planting. 

Growing to 2 m, the Copper Leaf Acalypha is ideal for hedging, contrast, and feature planting. For most effective hedging results, we recommend planting around 1 metre apart, and to prune twice a year in cooler climates to maintain colour and density. Layer this beauty in a hedge behind other plants for both height and gorgeous colour contrast.

Frost tender, wind tolerant. Most well drained soils. Prefers mulching in Summer. Full sun or part shade.
