The stunning Desert Rose, or Adenium obesum is a beautifully hardy, unusual succulent shrub with pretty flowers in mixed pinks and whites, white, yellow, reds, all the way to darker tones, bearing a swollen base to store water. Typically growing 400mm - 1 m high, however this semi-succulent shrub can also be a small tree growing up to 2.5 m when allowed the time, or can be kept to your desired size through pruning. This garden ornamental has a long flowering season late spring throughout summer, and is attractive to bees and butterflies. Our Desert Rose is mixed colours, so if you order multiple plants, we will do our best to provide different shades :)

Perfect as an indoor plant and for container planting (particularly if you're like me and forget to water your indoor plants), she's also a very popular bonsai specimen. Consider using this colourful, dramatic specimen in succulent gardens to beautiful effect. This very forgiving girl is perfect for you if you like big rewards with low care! 

Hardy to drought, sensitive to frost. Prefers free draining soil. Prefers full sun for full result; if planting indoors keep in a sunny, warm position.
