The Fire Bug is a stunning perennial with striking foliage of purples, reds and pinks year round, with the colours only growing brighter when planted in full sun. This tropical beauty has insignificant small white clusters of flowers, but it is the colourful leaves which are the attraction here.

Growing 500 - 800mm, layer for colourful borders in rockeries, utilise as a bushy ground-cover or container plant.This little guy is hardy once established, and if you desire a compact growth habit, a regular light prune is recommended. Gorgeous in a pot on the patio, or planted in rows as a cheery border, the Firebug is a stunning addition to any garden! 

Frost sensitive; sheltered position.  Most well drained soils; mulch in summer.  Full sun or part shade.
