Common Name: Mt Tozer
Availabilty: In Stock
Babingtonia Tozerensis, or the Mt Tozer Heath Myrtle as it is more commonly known, is a brilliant evergreen shrub that grows up to 1.5 metres. Small white flowers bloom during Spring and Summer, only adding to the attractive weeping foliage that graces the branches year round.
Ideal for use as a tub specimen, and the weeping habit is spectacular as it spills out of containers or along rockery borders. The bright green compact foliage bears intricate, rounded leaves and is a beautiful contrast piece for layering and added interest in the garden. The scented flowers attract native birds and insects, although a light prune is advised after the flowering season is finished. This is also a type of Australian "Bush Tucker".
Hardy, mildly frost & wind tolerant. Most well drained, rich soils. Full sun to part shade.
