The Tassel Rope Rush is a gorgeous evergreen with weeping foliage that establishes in rush-like, dense clumps. The attractive bright-green foliage ends in feathered tips that look stunning waving in the breeze. Bronze flowering stems appear in the spring and summer, and if you have waterlogged areas this is the plant you want! Although it adapts to all environments.
The flowering stems are popular used in floral arrangements, and are attractive to birdlife when left on the plant. Growing up to 1.5 metres in a variety of settings, it is prized for cut flowers, flood plain planting, river bank planting, container planting, natural borders, mass planting and bush-scapes.
One of the most popular clumping grasses with its' unique flowers and weeping growth habit, and additionally is easy to grow and ideal for low-maintenance gardeners and those hard-to-grow areas.
Hardy to most environments, especially waterlogged areas, moderately frost tolerant. Most well drained soils. Full sun or full shade (however when in containers or dry areas it performs best in partial-full shade with regular watering)
