The Gryphon Begonia is certainly one of a kind with unique thick, glossy star-shaped leaves that are rich green with speckles of silver and a deep maroon underside. This little guy may look like he has a flair for the dramatic, but we promise he's the perfect evergreen houseplant for people too busy to baby their plant-children each day. Only indirect light and a little water (only water occasionally to keep the soil moist) and well-draining soil to be kept happy – that’s it!

For those wishing to put this little guy in the garden or in containers, he is best to be positioned in shade to part shade and away from harsh winds and frost. Gryphon can grow up to 400mm high and 500mm wide and can tolerate high humidity environments.
