One of our best sellers, the Buxus microphylla japonica or the Japanese Box, is a popular evergreen shrub with cheery, bright green foliage with small white flowers blooming in the warmer months. The compact growth habit  and shallow root system renders it ideal for formal hedging or a shaped container shrub.

This little guy is hardy and low maintenance, slow growing up to 2 - 3 metres. But being so low-effort it is perfect for formalising your garden if utilised as a hedge, or for layering for added interest.

Frost and wind tolerant.  Hardy to most soils; mulch in warmer months. Full sun or part shade.
