The famous Parlour Palm is an evergreen palm variety that is prized as an indoor houseplant. Glossy, luscious green fronds grow on thin, woody stems; the long-fingered leaves bringing both texture and movement to the landscape, and small white flowers appear during the spring. This popular palm is loved due to her clumping habit, creating a thick and luxurious appearance (loved by interior designers for her attractive and delicate appearance), and can be grown indoors or out in a sheltered position. 

Growing a conservative 700mm - 1.5 metres, this slow grower is ideal for indoor gardening, cut foliage, low maintenance, and tropical landscapes.

This beautiful, small palm basically thrives on neglect, requiring very little maintenance to survive. Being easy going and adaptive to all light and humidity levels, she also improves air quality (our little star even making it to NASA's list of 50 indoor plants that clean the air).

Frost and wind sensitive.  Most well drained soils; mulch while establishing. Part shade outdoors or with bright indoor light.
