Originally hailing from South Africa, the Clivea Yellow is a stunning evergreen that is quite the showstopper. Bearing masses of gorgeous trumpet flowers throughout spring in buttery yellows and creams; the flowers are also highly popular for use in floral arrangements. Strappy deep green luscious foliage is ideal for traditional or tropical landscaping.

Plant out as a beautiful border plant in sheltered areas like walkways for a splash of bright colour, or as a layering or contrast piece in your garden. Growing up to 500 - 600 mm tall and wide, she is happy both indoors and out, and is extremely versatile. This little pretty thrives in pots and can happily adapt to low-light conditions indoors or in deep entryways; though flowering is to best result in the ideal lighting conditions of bright filtered light. Cliveas don't need much water in the cooler months, but enjoy regular watering in the warmer weather. Tough and hardy to most conditions, you can't go wrong with the gorgeous Clivea Yellow!

Sensitive to frost, moderately wind tolerant. Most well-drained soils. Bright shade. Prefers filtered light although will tolerate heavy shade.
