Common Name: Purple Beauty Cordyline
Availabilty: In Stock
The beautiful Purple Beauty Cordyline is a hugely popular evergreen ornamental plant. Thick strappy foliage in cheery greens is slashed at the borders and through the centre with deep purple tones. This little show stopper is handily self cleaning, while small white-yellow flowers bloom in the warmer months.
Growing between 1 - 2 metres tall and up to 1 metre wide, plant this beauty out for colour contrast, layer for spectacular effect, underplanting taller shrubs, container planting, lining pathways or house bases. Low maintenance and ideal for tropical gardens, modern landscaping and pool gardens or even keep indoors for a splash of colour in brightly lit spaces. Don't let her pretty appearance fool you, Cordylines are famously hardy to most conditions and those hard-to-grow spaces in the garden.
Moderately tolerant of wind, frost & drought. Sensitive to high humidity, hardy to other conditions. Most soils. Bright shade for best result, adapts to full sun. Brightly lit indoors.
You are buying beautiful, happy, sun-hardened (excepting indoor varieties) tubestock with root systems. Tubestock is the youngest plant you can buy, which keeps it affordable (so you can buy more plants *wink*). Please note our infographic included in every plant listing for an indication of sizing. Pictures are examples only, and your stock may be larger or smaller than what is shown.
