The Dietes Bicolour, or the African Iris as it can be more commonly known as, is a gorgeous evergreen bearing pretty yellow flowers through spring and summer. The creamy-yellow butterfly flowers with three distinct spots are a beautiful garden addition and ideal for use as a natural border, in group planting, hard to grow areas, erosion control and colour contrast.
Growing 600 mm - 1 metre tall, it is low maintenance and hardy to most conditions... just perfect for hard to grow areas including dry creek beds and utilised frequently for erosion control.
Hardy to frost, salt & wind. Most soils, mulch in establishment. Full sun, part shade.
