Common Name: Bubble Plant, Popcorn Plant, Bathroom Bubbles
Availabilty: In Stock
Rare and hard to find, the unique Bubble Plant is a hugely popular evergreen in Asia. This sweet little guy has unique fine-leaf foliage that puckers and crinkles attractively in deep green tones, creating stunning contrast with other varieties. Boasting dense and robust growth, small oval leaves 'pop' and dimple in the centre, looking a little like cute green bubbles or popcorn.
Growing around 300 mm tall and 200 mm wide depending on environment, this rambling groundcover remains compact and is ideal when utilised underplanting taller plants to stunning effect. Equally happy indoors as he is out; consider planting indoors in small containers, allowing to ramble out of a hanging basket or as a groundcover underneath taller plants, planting out mixed beds, or using for attractive contrast. Preferring part to full shade, or bright indirect light indoors, he's at his happiest with a damp base from generous watering. The deep green tones are especially effective in the bathroom (Bubble plant - it just fits next to a tub, right?) and since they're humidity hardy, they love the slightly damp environment in your bathroom.
We're just a little in love, and we're sure you will be too!
