The Dracaena marginata, or the Dragon tree as it can be more commonly known (along with the many other name variations of this popular plant), is a striking evergreen with attractive stiffly speared colourful foliage in red and green, growing in a large globe atop each cane-like stem.

 Dracaenas are one of the most enduring indoor plant varieties for adding great colour, and the marginata is one of the most versatile of them. They are drought tolerant with aggressive root systems. Growing 1 - 4 metres tall but with a compact base, try grouping or braiding together in a single pot to excellent result.

Drought tolerant (do not over-water). Most well drained soils. Part sun to part shade - do not plant in full sun as the leaves will burn. Indoors avoid direct sunlight, but they prefer bright light for the best result.
