The stunning Ehretia microphylla or more commonly known Fukien Tea Tree is a tropical evergreen shrub with small rounded glossy green leaves and clusters of small white flowers that can bloom throughout the whole year, given the right environment.

This versatile fella is a popular addition to gardens and parks whilst also being a great option for hedges, screening and container planting. Another common use for the Fukien Tea Tree is for bonsai plants. This little cutie grows between 1 – 3 metres high and can tolerate full-sun positions outside, or for indoor environments, positioned near a window to get adequate light. The Fukien Tea Tree prefers well-drained soils and to be watered when the soil dries out for best result.
