Common Name: Narrow leaf fig, Long leaf fig
Availabilty: In Stock
The Long Leaf Fig is a cousin of the ever popular Fiddle Leaf Fig and is just as gorgeous! This luscious evergreen beauty has long, narrow, deep green foliage, creating quite the show-stopping home addition.
This hardy guy thrives in humidity, but is pretty easy-going and can adapt to less humid conditions. Fast growing, they can reach up to 4 – 10 metres high (depending on pot size). This handsome fella does best when allowed to grow, as this variety is not particularly suited to trimming (Sorry, bonsai fans!).
They like a moist soil base, but dislike wet feet. Watering once a week should be adequate as they are quite happy drying out a little between waterings. Ficus have aggressive root systems, so we don't recommend planting near buildings or walkways. But they are quite content getting a little root bound in their pots :) Lazy gardeners rejoice! A gorgeous and low-maintenance option for your indoor space!
Humidity hardy. Well drained soils. Bright filtered indoor light. Full sun outdoors, tolerates bright part shade.
You are buying beautiful, happy, sun-hardened (excepting indoor varieties) tubestock with root systems. Tubestock is the youngest plant you can buy, which keeps it affordable (so you can buy more plants *wink*). Please note our infographic included in every plant listing for an indication of sizing. Pictures are examples only, and your stock may be larger or smaller than what is shown.
