Grevillea Gaudi Chaudi

Common Name: Grevillea Gaudi Chaudi, Prostrate Grevillea, Grevillea acanthifolia x laurifolia Grevillea 'Gaudichaudii'

Availabilty: Out of Stock ENQUIRE NOW

The Grevillea Gaudi Chaudi is a gorgeous evergreen sprawling ground cover, with ferny dense bronze-red foliage when new growth shoots, contrasting to a deep green when mature. Birds and insects love the clusters of crimson-red toothbrush shaped flowers that bloom year-round in temperate locations. This hardy native is perfect for cascading down retaining walls and embankments; perfect for those hard to grow areas under trees or as a weed suppressant.

This fast-growing native is great in full sun or part shade, growing up to 300 mm tall and can ramble up to 3 m wide. A strong erosion control, Gaudi Chaudi also tolerates mild frost and is drought tolerant once established. This grevillea will handle most soil conditions and can even survive extended wet periods. In spring fertilise with a slow-release native fertiliser and lightly prune after flowering.

Moderately frost tolerant, drought tolerant once established. Full sun to part shade. Most soils.  Attractive to birds and insects.
