Grevillea lanigera 'Mt Tamboritha'

Common Name: Spider Flower

Availabilty: In Stock

The Mt Tamboritha is a stunning native evergreen widely used as a groundcover. Succulent-like oblong foliage clusters along each stem, while abundant clusters of spider flowers appear in creamy whites and striking pinks throughout much of the year (primarily late winter to spring).

This exceptionally dense spreading groundcover bears a unique appearance, is fast growing and wildly attractive to local bird and insect-life. Growing up to 400 mm tall and 1 - 2 metres wide, this pretty native is ideal for rockeries, groundcovers, contrast, hard-to-grow areas, mass plating, allowing to cascade over embankments, native landscaping and container planting. Very tolerant of salt as well, you can pop her in coastal landscapes and she will thrive. The Mt Tamboritha dislikes humidity, but thrives in cooler climates. It's no mountain to climb to fall in love with a Mt Tamboritha!

Drought tolerant once established. Frost, wind, salt tolerant. Most well drained soils.  Full sun. Attractive to insects and bird life
