The Grevillea Robusta also known as the Australian Silver Oak is one of the most popular and largest of the Grevillea varieties. These stunning evergreens trees grow between 10 - 40 metres tall. Striking orange/bronze brush flowers bloom throughout during spring while beautiful deep green foliage provides contrast year round. Known for its beautiful quality of wood which is used all over the world. The Grevillea is also fast growing and very low maintenance once established.
The flowers are attractive to bird and insect life; utilise the grevillea for tough or hard-to-grow areas, cut flowers or foliage, border planting, screening and feature planting. This particular variety is also popular in coastal settings as it is tough to salt.
Hardy to frost, salt, wind & hardy to drought once established. Most well drained soils. Full sun. Attractive to birds and insects.
