The stunning Blood Leaf is a tough, hardy and colourful evergreen boasting striking beetroot purple and red patterned leaves speckled with pinky creams; gorgeously contrasting with the bright pink stems. Insignificant flowers appear in summer and autumn, but it's her foliage that is the show stopper. Happy as an indoor or outdoor plant, she loves high heat and high humidity, if keeping her inside just remember that she likes a lot of light.
Growing 300 - 700 mm this pretty little shrub is beautiful for accenting, borders, mass planting, indoors or container/patio planting. Low maintenance, prune occasionally to maintain tight growth habit and to prevent getting too leggy.
Well drained soils. Best result in full sun, however happy in part shade or full shade.
