Juncus usitatus (or the Tassel Sedge or Common Rush) is an evergreen rush plant; small, yellow tassel flowers at the tips of the stems arrive in spring and summer. Growing 800 mm to 1.2 metres tall this little guy is hardy and very low maintenance, making it ideal for accent planting, contrast, creek planting, containers, and rockeries.
Perfect for bush scapes, low care gardens, rental properties or layering to great effect.
Hardy to salt, drought & wind, moderately frost tolerant. Most well drained, moist soils. Full sun to part shade.
