The Shimpaku Juniperus a one of the more smaller yet popular evergreen conifer varieties, known for its beautiful grey to deep green needle-like foliage. This particular variety of Juniperus, is a slow grower and reaches a height of approximately 1 metre and width of 1.5 metres when fully mature over the span of 10 years.

The low-maintenance Shimpaku beauty is predominantly used as a decorative tree whether it be as a bonsai or in oriental gardens. They are best in full sun to partly shaded positions and are hardy to most environments including frost, drought and wind. These robust junipers can tolerate most well-drained soils and are a perfect addition to any small garden.
