Limonium perezii (Statice), or Perez’s Sea Lavender as it is more commonly known, is a pretty evergreen perennial with tall handfuls of tiny, deep mauve (with occasional white) papery flowers throughout late summer to autumn.
Growing 500mm - 1 metre tall, low care and a fast grower; it is ideal for cut flowers, dried arrangements, costal planting, container planting, natural borders, layering and contrast, mass planting underneath taller shrubs. Being very resistant to full sea spray and tolerant of sandy soils, it is perfectly suited for coastal gardens, although also looks stunning in cottage or traditional garden settings.
Hardy to salt spray, drought and frost. Sandy, fertile and well drained soils. Full sun to partial shade.
