The Medinilla dolichophylla, is a striking evergreen with stunning flower formations that hang down in pinks and bright purples. The multi-toned foliage is long and oval, in dark greens and reddish undersides with lush growth. You won't see this little guy everywhere, he's moderately rare, so don't miss out on this lovely!

Growing to around 750 mm tall, this beautiful exotic and tropical plant grows as well indoors as it does outdoors in the right conditions. The flowers are long lasting and bloom almost year round in ideal temperatures. Ideal for indoor gardening or in hanging baskets as the flowers cascade over the side, this dainty little guy is much happier as a potted or indoor specimen over a garden bed addition. Preferring a bright shade, these plants are perfect for container plantings. They like being kept somewhat moist but require great drainage, we'd recommend an orchid mix, or adding some roughage to the soil to aid in draining. Being a rain forest plant, they are a humidity lover. This pretty little plant is a rare find, so don't miss out today!

Sensitive to frost, wind tolerant, humidity hardy.  Most well drained, rich soils; mulch in warmer months.  Part, filtered shade, or bright, indirect indoor light.
