Common Name: Snowstorm Melaleuca
Availabilty: In Stock
The Snowstorm Melaleuca is a gorgeous Native evergreen with lacey white brush flowers throughout spring and summer and very fine and dainty bright green foliage. The Snowstorm is a smaller alternative to the Melaleuca Snowflake, and is an ideal for gardens without the room for a large tree.
Drought resistant and hardy to all elements, Snowstorm is easy to grow, making her an ideal addition in coastal regions. Growing up to 1.5 m tall and wide she's ideal for screening, shape pruning, feature planting, hedging, layering for effect and is attractive to birds and insects. She's also great for areas with poor drainage.
Hardy to all elements, drought resistant. Most well-drained soils. Full sun or part shade. Attractive to birds & insects.
This is a type of Australian "Bush Food" or "Bush Tucker". The flowers of Melaleuca varieties produce sweet nectar and you can suck the nectar out, or soak the flowers in water to make a sweet drink, but this plant is not edible.
