The Port Wine Magnolia is a stunning Michelia variety with highly fragrant cream flowers tinged with a deep crimson-purple in Spring and Summer. The sweetly scented flowers bloom prolifically in warmer months, covering an established Port Wine Magnolia with beautiful white and crimson-purple blossoms. Occasional pruning, particularly after flowering, maintains a dense and compact bush. The Port Wine Magnolia is perfect as a floral and sweet smelling screening plant near the house, where the beautiful fragrance can waft through.
