The Pentas Lucky Star is an attractive perennial shrub that produces an array of bright and colourful blooms throughout most of the year that will become a star in your garden! This low-maintenance shrub has is a popular option to brighten up and provide a pop of colour to containers and mixed beds. The Lucky Star plant has dark green, oval shaped foliage that have fine hairs that cover the underside of the leaves. The star-shaped flowers come in a range of colours from red, pink, purple to white.
This show-stopping shrub thrives in full-sun positions and can withstand hot summer temperatures. They are happiest in well-drained soil and should only be watered when the soil begins to dry out. The Lucky Star is more of a slow-growing plant but can reach up to 2m tall and 1m wide, but even though she can be a little slow, she is worth the wait!
