Common Name: Fergusonii Indian Hawthorn
Availabilty: In Stock
Indian Hawthorn bears pale pink flowers in warmer months, followed by blue berries. This pretty evergreen is a smaller shrub than it's cousins, maximum growth being 1 - 1.2 metres. This makes a very lovely hedge, the thick, leathery deep-green foliage offering surprising density, pruning only further encouraging the dense growth available.
It is quite hardy, rendering it ideal for coastal conditions, while Indian Hawthorn is also perfect for specimen planting, borders, screening, tub planting or hedging. Plant this very pretty shrub in your garden today for beautiful results. Local bird and insect life will also thank you, and become frequent visitors when you have a Rhaphiolepis calling your garden home.
Moderately wind & frost tolerant. Most well drained soils; mulch in Summer. Full sun preferred, adapts to part shade.
