Common Name: White Banksia Rose, White Climbing Rose
Availabilty: Out of Stock ENQUIRE NOW
The White Banksia Rose is a hardy, sprawling climber that grows quickly and robustly. The beautiful clusters of small, double white 'rose-like' flowers bloom in warmer months, covering the bush in white beauty. Ideal for specimen planting, climbing, colour contrast and as a feature. Train this evergreen to climb up a trellis, wall, fence or embankment to stunning effect.
The white blossoms are attractive to birds and insects.. allow it to ramble naturally, or prune to keep smaller and more dense. This variety responds very well to regular pruning to retain density; due to the rambling nature of this plant, size can greatly vary dependant on pruning habits... anywhere from 1.5 - 5 metres. Even though the flowers are rose-like, this variety is devoid of virtually any thorns, making it perfect for high traffic areas.
Moderately wind tolerant, mildly frost tolerant. Most soils. Full sun preferred, adapts to part shade. Attractive to birds & insects.
