The Sanchezia speciosa, or the Shrubby whitevein as it can sometimes be called, is an impressive evergreen with glossy broad foliage speared by attractive white veins. Growing up to 2 metres tall, the large leaves cause quite a striking display year round, while multiple tubular yellow flowers appear on spikes through summer.
Perfect for feature planting, lining pathways or garden beds, colour contrast, container or mass planting, it adds a vibrant and tropical flair to your garden. Ideal for tropical and contemporary garden settings. Sensitive to frost, some prefer to bring this gorgeous plant indoors over the winter and outdoors in the warmer months.
Prefers warmer, temperate climates. Moderately sensitive to frost. Most rich, well drained soils. Full sun to partial shade.
