Common Name: Maialen
Availabilty: Out of Stock ENQUIRE NOW
The Maialen is an attractive perennial succulent boasting bearing compact rosettes that are a blue-green colour, whilst the tips can develop deep red colours depending on the lighting. During summer, creamy white flowers appear on dainty stalks growing above the plant. This hybrid between a sedum and echeveria is fast growing and low maintenance.
Growing up to around 300 mm tall, this pretty beauty is ideal in hanging baskets, container planting, succulent gardens, rockeries, drought prone landscapes and indoor gardening.
As with most succulents, water only occasionally when the soil is dry to the touch (every 10 days is a rough guide, depending on weather). If keeping this cheery little guy indoors, keep in a brightly lit area, if outdoors, they prefer full sun but can adapt to part shade.
Drought friendly. Sensitive to frost. Most well drained soils. Thrives in succulent based soils. Prefers full sun to part shade.
