Common Name: Jelly Bean Plant, Pork and Beans Succulent, Green Aurora, Sedum, Christmas Green
Availabilty: Out of Stock ENQUIRE NOW
The Jelly Bean is an adorable perennial succulent boasting attractive, plump ''jelly-bean'' leaves that are bright lime-green changing to darker green tones, and delicate to the touch. Bright yellow clusters of star-shaped flowers can appear on mature plants.
Fast growing and easily spreading it can be utilised as an effective ground-cover. Exceptionally easy to grow, this is an ideal succulent for beginners, Jelly Bean is also easy to propagate from pups. Growing up to around 300 mm tall, this rambling beauty is ideal in hanging baskets, container planting, succulent gardens, drought prone landscapes and indoor gardening.
As with most succulents, water only occasionally when the soil is dry to the touch (every 10 days is a good guide, depending on weather). If keeping this cheery little guy indoors, keep in a brightly lit area with filtered light, keeping next to a window with unfiltered bright sunlight will burn the leaves. If kept outdoors, they can adapt to full sun over time, but thrive in bright, indirect or partial sunlight.
Drought friendly. Sensitive to frost. Most well drained soils. Thrives in succulent based soils. Prefers brightly lit part shade, or brightly lit, filtered light indoors.
