Sedum rupestre Silver

Common Name: Silver Stonecrop

Availabilty: Out of Stock ENQUIRE NOW

The Silver Stonecrop is a pretty succulent that has blue-green to silver needled foliage, while yellow cacti flowers appear in warmer months. This unique girl offers beautiful dainty accents to other succulent varieties and is easy care, low maintenance and extremely hardy to drought and heat.

Growing 100 - 200 mm tall she is low growing and dense, forming a mat-like appearance. Her unusual succulent foliage creates quite a lovely contrast when in mixed beds, and is quite a polite neighbour to other plants, being non-invasive and boasting of quite a neat growth habit.

Ideal in rock gardens, succulent plantings, mixed beds, drought affected areas, hanging baskets, indoor gardening or cascading down embankments. This fancy girl requires little water once established and prefers a gritty, well draining succulent base (well draining soils).

Drought and heat hardy. Pet friendly. Frost sensitive. Most well drained, gritty soils. Full sun.

You are buying beautiful, happy, sun-hardened tubestock with root systems. Tubestock is the youngest plant you can buy, which helps to make it so affordable (so you can buy more PLANTS, woohoo!). Please note our infographic included in every plant listing for an indication of what sizing to expect. Photos are examples only, and your stock may be larger or smaller than what is shown.
