Common Name: Hinterland Gold Lilly Pilly

Availabilty: Out of Stock ENQUIRE NOW

The Hinterland Gold Lilly Pilly is a small, evergreen tree or tall shrub that grows to 5 metres. It's density of foliage and moderate height renders it as an effective windbreak or hedge, pruning maintaining your desired shape with ease. The pretty foliage is appealingly tinged with gold.

White flowers appear during the Summer months that are attractive to birdlife, followed by pink berries through much of the year. Low maintenance but great results is the key here, Hinterland Gold requiring very little work, if any. Then to top it off, syzygiums are hardy to most environments... what's not to love?

Frost & wind tolerant.  Most well drained soils. Full sun.

This is a type of Australian "Bush Food" or "Bush Tucker".  Syzygium australe varieties produce reddish coloured berries that can be eaten or cooked, and is typically made into jam or jelly.

We apologise, but this product cannot be sold into South Australia due to quarantine restrictions.
