Zanzibar Gem is very popular as an tub specimen, indoor or patio plant. The unique appearance of this plant causes it to stand out in a crowd, the spear like foliage standing 'at attention', remaining compact with no requirement of shaping or pruning. (Actually, let's be honest... Zanzibar Gem hardly requires any maintenance at all... hardly even watering! Perfect for all you 'I kill everything' types). Depending on environment, this little guy can grow 600mm - 1500 mm tall.

Thriving in a drier position, 'low maintenance' is an understatement with this little trooper. An evergreen, with yellow-bronze flowers appearing in Summer, while the deep green foliage remains year round, this plant is a beautiful accent piece in a room. You'll want to add this guy to your home!
