Cupressus Sempervirens Glauca or Pencil Pine as it can be more commonly known, is an evergreen that is a narrow, upright and columnar conifer variety. The foliage on this popular conifer is deep green and aromatic, making it an effective option for the garden. As with most conifers it is tolerant and hardy to most all conditions, including wind, salt and frost & drought.

The uniform growing nature habit of the Pencil Pine is ideal for feature planting on its' own, or just striking planted out in a row for borders, group planting, or windbreaks. This robust ornamental grows between 8 - 20 metres tall, and is best suited for full sun positions. Plant in well-draining soil to keep this robust tree happy and thriving for many years. 

Tolerant of frost, wind, drought & salt. Fast growing. Most well drained soils. Full sun.
