The Dietes grandiflora, or the Fairy Iris as it can be more commonly known, is a gorgeous evergreen bearing pretty yellow flowers with violet stripes through spring and summer. The distinct, creamy-yellow-violet butterfly flowers are a beautiful garden addition and ideal for use as a natural border, in group planting, hard to grow areas, erosion control and colour contrast.

Growing up to 1 metre tall, it is low maintenance and hardy to most conditions... just perfect for hard to grow areas including dry creek beds and utilised frequently for erosion control.

Hardy to frost, salt & wind.  Most soils, mulch in establishment.  Full sun, part shade.
