Doryanthes Palmeri, or the Gymea Lily or Giant Spear Lily, is a stunning evergreen native known for its' striking red flowers on long spikes that appear through spring and summer. Growing 3 - 5 metres it is highly attractive to birds and insects.

Ideal for border planting, feature, large gardens, tropical planting, scrub scapes, low maintenance, and large cut flowers. The bold and large flowers are attention grabbing and perfect planted as an ornamental feature, it is also tolerant to most conditions and hardy, plant out in tropical gardens as a show piece!

Hardy; frost & wind tolerant. Most soil types, mulch in establishment.  Full sun preferred, can handle part shade.
