Leptospermum scoparium Ballerina

Common Name: New Zealand Tea Tree

Availabilty: Out of Stock ENQUIRE NOW

The Leptospermum Ballerina will dance away with your heart! This compact, native shrub is a truly stunning evergreen bearing masses of frilly-edged double blooms in bright pinks, reds and whites. The gorgeous multi-coloured flowers with dark centres bloom through late winter into the summer months, with additional sporadic flowering throughout the year, while new growth is an attractive dark red.

Growing 1 - 2 metres tall, it is ideal planted out in rockeries, for added contrast or colour, bushscapes, light screening and specimen planting. Being drought, salt, wind and frost resistant, the unique foliage is ideal for layering or shielding more sensitive plants from the environment. Did we mention that she's also highly attractive to bees and local wildlife, making this little dancer a winner all round!

Frost, salt, wind & drought hardy. Most well drained soils, hardy in arid-wet. Full sun preferred, adapts to part shade.

We apologise, but this product cannot be sold into South Australia due to quarantine restrictions.

You are buying beautiful, happy, sun-hardened tubestock with root systems. Tubestock is the youngest plant you can buy, which helps to make it so affordable (so you can buy more PLANTS, woohoo!). Please note our infographic included in every plant listing for an indication of what sizing to expect. Photos are examples only, and your stock may be larger or smaller than what is shown.
